Our aggregate products are used in a wide variety of construction applications including asphalt, concrete, residential and commercial, construction, as well as for agricultural, and environmental purposes. Our products range in size from rip rap, large stones used for erosion control, to ag lime, a fine dust used by farmers to neutralize soil acidity. Aggregates are sold by size, depending upon the application for which it is to be used. Production techniques include blasting, dredging, crushing and screening to meet our customer’s needs. Our quality control labs monitor and test our production materials to verify quality and gradation.
We are also a prime source for calcium carbonate fillers that are produced at one location (Piqua Materials) by pulverization and air classification techniques. These fillers are widely used in mastics, fiber-reinforced plastics and many other applications.
Jurgensen Aggregates has continued to grow its operations by adding the latest technology and equipment available. Our team is well trained and firmly committed to excellent customer service and satisfaction.
