  • Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate students who are U.S. citizens enrolled in a full-time civil engineering, construction management, or construction engineering curriculum at an accredited four-year college or university or two-year technical institution.

Robert P. Wadell Transportation Engineering Scholarship—ASCE

  • Award: $2,500-$5,000
  • Eligibility: Undergraduate students enrolled in various careers in the transportation industry. Applicants must be a member of the Society and in good standing at the time of application and award and must be U.S. citizens.

  • Award: $1,000 to $10,000
  • Eligibility: Applicant must be looking to start a career in the concrete industry or is working in the concrete industry and looking to improve through education and/or training. Applicant must be living, working, or attending school within the state of Ohio.

Ohio Asphalt Scholarships—Flexible Pavements of Ohio

  • Award: Varies. For the 2025-26 academic year 11 scholarships of $5,000 each were awarded.
  • Eligibility: Sophomore and junior class students must be working toward a civil engineering, construction management or construction engineering degree at a university in Ohio that offers an accepted course in asphalt pavement technology. Graduate students studying and/or researching asphalt pavement technology may also be eligible.
